Local Happenings

During the summer on beautiful Lake Alice fishing and boating are favorites among our many welcome visitors to the Tomahawk area. There are also endless ATV trails that are accessible directly from our cottages. These ATV trails connect with several of the surrounding counties for endless miles of riding fun. You also do not want to miss the fun-filled Kwahamot Water Ski Show or catch a local race at our very own Tomahawk Speed Way. Although these activities attract many to this peaceful area during the summer, there are plenty of things to do all year round in Tomahawk, WI.

The fall boasts breath taking autumn foliage that people come from miles around to view. The hunting in our rural communities is some of the finest in the state also. For the “wild at heart” the Annual Tomahawk Fall Ride attracts motorcycle enthusiasts state wide raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

In the winter months Tomahawk still has an abundance of outdoor activities with miles of snowmobiling trails, ice fishing galore, and even an Alice in Winterland Ice Fishing Derby hosted on Lake Alice!

The city of Tomahawk is a short 5 miles to the West of Lake Alice. Close enough for convenience but far enough away to feel at peace with your surroundings. The city of Tomahawk boasts great small business shopping, parks, dining, an indoor ice arena, a dog park, and much more!
